Safer workplaces through better training
The Institute of Conflict Management (ICM) is a non-profit organisation that promotes conflict avoidance, management and resolution across healthcare, education, government, transport, security, retail and leisure. We own and maintain the ICM/PMWRV Standards for training in the prevention and management of work-related violence.
What we do
Set the Standards
The 22 ICM/PMWRV Standards cover training providers, training content, training delivery and trainers. They are free for anyone to read or download.
Assess training providers
The ICM Quality Award Centre (QAC) scheme assesses organisations against the Standards at one of three scopes, with people reviewing every stage.
Support individuals
ICM Membership and Recognised Trainer Assessor status are available to individuals, separate from QAC status.
